Position Name: Propagation Coordinator
Location: Lindendale
Permanent - Full Time
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Nursery Supervisor to join our nursery team. We are currently seeking an experienced staff member for our Lindendale Nursery, situated within a 35min drive from Byron Bay & 15mins from Lismore in Northern NSW.This role is responsible for the coordination and supervision of our nursery propagation and production program, ensuring top-quality young plants are available to meet production planning timelines.
The role will mostly include work being undertaken Monday – Friday however, you will be required to work weekends on a roster system. This primarily outdoor-based role would suit physically fit people and offers a wide variety of work within the nursery team producing & dispatching plants working alongside other Section Leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for executing production plans and all the production processes required to grow plants from potting up to point of sale.
- The Production Coordinator is responsible for the execution and feedback on all processes; potting, dispatch, weed management, IPM, nutrition, water supply, and irrigation scheduling
- The Production Coordinator will provide training, direction, and supervision to staff allocated by the Nursery & Site Manager, to ensure that tasks are done in an efficient, horticulturally sound, and safe manner and as per MB policy and procedure.
- The Production Coordinator is responsible for meeting all KPI’s, both efficiency and quality as set out by MB as they relate to their section.
- The Production Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Propagation Coordinator to complete their role whenever possible.
- Assisting and providing support to the Nursery & Site Manager, Team Leaders, and Teams as required.

• Reporting results and issues to upper management such as policy and procedure breaches

Eligibility Criteria
• Farm Chemical User certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong team member and can-do attitude.
• Experience in tractor operations and attachments
• Sound knowledge of PPE requirements
• The ability to work in a team environment as well as on your own
• Horticulture trade certificate or demonstrated industry experience of no less than 2yrs.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
